Google search tricks?

i know all of us know about google search and those who use computer know about the search important. we know lots search engines avail and all of them follow some different algorithm to show better result to customers. we don't need to understand the whole algorithm how they produce the result but we must need to understand how to use it. (ex) we want to drive a bike, no need to know how the engines are working, we just need petrol and how do increase and reduce the speed with help of accelerator and break and driving rule. but for search we don't have any rule so we can search the word as what we need. but some tricks avail to boost the search result here i am going to explain some thing about that.

for google search engine

*) limit search to particular site:
you want to get search result only from particular site.for example student want to search his courses avail in particular college, that college have own website mean just use that colleurl in search.example i want to search about btech from annauniversity mean just search with the following
b tech site:www.annauniv.edu. it will give me a better result.

*) area or location based search
just enter your area code in google search it will give your location based site details.

*) file type based search
just add your search filetype to the search word in suffix or prefix.it will use to avoid the unneeded file types.

*) exclude specific terms with - operator

*) to get the weather result to you city just type "weather" followed by city and state, ZIP code

*) to see the time of around the world just type time followed by country name

*) to see the sunrise and sunset time around the world just type "sunrise" or "sunset" followed by the city name.

*)related content website some time we need to search the related content site. google give the easy way for that, just use the "related:" before that website
(ex) related:www.facebook.com

*) add special attention to the search word just use "+" before that word.

*) you want to know the definition to the word just use "define" before the word google give the dictionary definition to that word.

*) to search to synonyms word and also to your search word just use "~" before the word
